University of Leeds

I am currently a PhD student at University of Leeds. My research work comprised of developing monitoring system based on machine learning techniques that detects anomalies in the power networks using high resolution data from phasor measurement units (PMU). The project utilizes big data analytic methods to gain insight into state of the power system using real time assessments.

Interests

  • Methods for machine learning system that detects anomalies in power system.
  • Artificial Intellegence methods and moitoring to improve real-time learning.
  • Big data analytics for proactive detection of system instabilities and failures.
